I've never seen anything so brutal done to a teacher when I was in school. When I was this age, no one dared talk back to a teacher, much less put your hands on one.
Being disrespectful to a teacher was a surefire way to get in even more trouble once you got home. I don't know what has changed but I feel like we are seeing a whole lot more of this lately.
The student was charged with aggravated assault on a school board employee, a first degree felony, punishable by up to 30 years in jail, and is being held on $1 Million bail.
