Driving down 275 this morning on my way to the station, I hit a small lake on the road and lost control of my car. As it was spinning, a small semi truck slammed right into my driver's side door. You can see the results.
My glasses ended up in the back seat and there was glass all over me, including in my shoes and mouth. The driver's side door was pretty much on top of me. But I walked away from it with just some small cuts for two reasons:
- I was wearing my seatbelt
- Air bags
So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE always wear your seatbelt! It's really not that big of a deal, and it could literally save your life. Drive safe out there.
